There was a cow, upon a time,

who didn't like a fence,

she didn't want to be hemmed in

or told how to behave.

Farmer built a very stout

and sturdy two-bar fence,

but every time he turned his back

the cow broke out again.

She didn't ever go too far,

just across the road,

all she really wanted was to have

the choice to roam.

Some cows are quite content,

trapped up in a field,

but some cows need grass and air

and the option to be free.
