THEY WAY SHEEP MIGHT LOOK AT YOU
Price: €550
Size: 17” x 17”
Early in the gloom of a winter’s morning,
a sheep looks up and catches me staring.
For a couple of minutes I hold his gaze,
while the other sheep continue to graze.
We communicate, that sheep and I,
while the rest of the world whizzes by.
I wonder just what is he thinking,
he wonders, I’m sure, just why am I standing
in the biting grey cold of a winter’s morning,
staring at sheep, and yawning.
After a minute, he turns away,
and dismissed, I go on with the rest of my day.
